Four-stage envelope bank
Slope 1-4 each run as their own Env contour into four VCAs. One gate from the keyboard can trigger all four by normalising the trigger input chain, giving a compact polyphonic envelope bank.

Looping animated LFO
Slope 2 in Loop mode with a short stage span and alternating curves. The output becomes a custom modulation source that can sweep filter cutoff while Trigger Output 2 marks the loop boundary.

Quantised step melody
Slope 3 in Step mode, quantiser on, and a short 5-stage range. The stage levels become a melodic pattern while Trigger Output 3 can re-fire an envelope on each new step.

Self-reset stage loop
Stage 4's trigger output feeds Enable and Sustain so the contour pauses on itself until a later gate breaks the loop. This turns the stage editor into a controlled feedback network.

Stage address performance
CV 1 is assigned to stage time and CV 2 to stage level, giving hand-played control over the contour while an LFO drives Trigger Input 1. The same panel gesture can morph the patch from drone to sequence without repatching.

Behaviors

Three slope modes select Env, Loop or Step

Env outputs a triggered multi-stage contour, Loop free-runs as a custom LFO and Step turns the same stage editor into a sequencer.

Shared or split stages move Start / End

The 13 stages can be shared across all slopes or split into overlapping ranges, so one module can act like several related generators.

Stage-based retriggering patch stage outputs into Trigger Input or CV assignment

Stage timing can be driven by its own gate outputs, which makes ratcheting, conditional sustain and self-reset loops practical.

Quantised slope output enable Quantiser

The slope output can quantise to 19 scales, turning the modulator into a usable pitch sequencer rather than only a contour source.

Range switching tap +/-

The output can live in bipolar, unipolar or half-range modes, which makes it easy to drive either audio-rate FM or unipolar VCA/filter duties.

AXON expansion AXON CV expander connected

The expander adds four more CV inputs for denser stage control without changing the main panel workflow.
