Behaviors
Steppy plays four simultaneous gate tracks, each with its own pattern length, mute state, clock division, swing, delay, and probability.
Step Edit mode adds ratchets, per-step gate length, per-step delay, and per-step probability on top of the track-wide settings.
Holding one or two steps in Play mode can loop a short slice of the pattern for fills, stutters, and live improvisation.
Long patterns can auto-follow the current play position across the four 16-step pages.
Steppy can boot in either RESET mode or RUN mode, so the reset jack can either only reset or also act as a remote transport gate.
Eight preset slots store all four tracks and their performance parameters.
