Dual gated precision CV processor. Per channel: 2-input selector, low-droop track-and-hold, and gated polariser. Switches, mutes, holds, inverts, attenuates, offsets, mixes and subtracts CV or audio.

Behaviors

Constant voltage generator all jacks unpatched

Left SIG IN normalises to +5V reference. Polariser knob then outputs a manual −5V to +5V CV. Adds a precision offset source to any rack.

Gated attenuverter / muter signal on left IN + gate on SELECT

High SELECT switches to right IN (normalised 0V), muting the signal. Low SELECT routes the processed audio/CV. Unity gate disables the attenuverter.

Low-droop track-and-hold gate on HOLD

While HOLD is high the output holds the captured voltage. Leakage low enough to store pitch-accurate CV for minutes. Works on audio too (sample-and-hold at audio rate).

A→B mix summing A OUT unpatched

A processor's signal automatically mixes into B OUT via the dashed normalisation. Enables attenuverter+offset in a single channel pair and −10V to +10V generation.

Schmitt-trigger gate inputs weak or slow modulation into gate jacks

HOLD, SELECT and UNITY all use +2V/+3V Schmitt thresholds. Slow LFOs, audio sine waves or bipolar signals reliably clock the digital features without buffering.

Gate-to-audio converter audio-rate gate into UNITY

Polariser at min, gate into UNITY, all other inputs unused: output becomes a 10Vpp square wave (−5V to +5V), non-inverted from the source gate.

A & B Polariser Knob Attenuverter at the end of each signal chain. Min = inverted, centre = zero, max = unity.

  • SIG. INPUTS (left) any CV/audio CV
    Default signal input for the channel. Processed by hold and polariser.
    NORM → +5V precision reference

    Alternate signal input, routed when SELECT gate is high.
    NORM → 0V
  • HOLD +2V low / +3V high · Schmitt trigger GATE
    Rising edge freezes current input voltage. Holds accurately for several minutes (low-droop design).
  • SELECT +2V low / +3V high · Schmitt trigger GATE
    Low = left signal input routed. High = right signal input routed.
  • UNITY +2V low / +3V high · Schmitt trigger GATE
    High disables the polariser (forces unity gain through). Low enables polariser knob.

OUT · 2

  • A OUT impedance-compensated CV/audio CV
    Channel A processor output. If left unpatched, signal is mixed into B OUT.
  • B OUT impedance-compensated CV/audio CV
    Channel B processor output. Sums in A's signal when A OUT is unpatched.
